Often, we build imaginary fences for ourselves that keep us in a place of fear. Some of these fences, themselves, are composed of fear. Perhaps fear of judgment from others, or fear of the unknown, or fear of not being in control. But the Lord desires to take us beyond our fences. Have you ever wondered what lies beyond?

Growing up on the streets in New Zealand and learning to fend for himself, the leader of the Middle East Mission Base has a salvation story that is unique. Five times a day, the atmosphere of the Middle East is constantly filled with false worship to a false god. But as the Bride of Christ lifts her song in day and night worship and prayer, a throne is being built for the Lord to inhabit the praises of His people.

The smells of incense and open cremations filled the air along with the sounds of fervent worship. Witnessing unceasing animal sacrifice for the appeasement of a false god struck my heart and mind with raw questions and wonderings. My conclusion was clear; a false priesthood had rooted itself in the highest place on earth in an effort to swallow up the fervent worship of the region that Jesus deserves and desires. I left sure that there is glory and worship due the Son in the Himalaya and the Father is zealous to give it to Him.

There is bustling anticipation around what God will do this year during and after the meeting; enthusiasm is building among believers here. The anticipation isn’t unmerited- and for good reason.
