Evergreen Staff
Evergreen staff is a designation for staff at MAPS Global Headquarters that includes 10 hrs a week of service on a HQ Team, Culture Meetings, and strengthening our Global Prayer Room.
Here at MAPS Global we are building an environment that will host the Presence of God night and day and train laborers to pray, preach and sing across the nations of the earth. Our full-time and part-time staff at Headquarters are the ones who are serving the hundreds who come into our midst every week to encounter Jesus, receive ministry and get trained. Because of our expanding work and there is a need for new and different types of staff to serve in the house of the Lord.
But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God. I trust in the steadfast love of God forever and ever. I will thank you forever, because you have done it. I will wait for your name, for it is good, in the presence of the godly. - Psalm 52:8-9
Much like the gatekeepers of David’s tabernacle, there is a place for many to use their gifts and strength to build with us. Our ministry together will be to host the Presence of God, to minister to Him day and night and to create a place where people from around this city and region can meet with the Living God. Evergreen staff is an opportunity for those who carry other vital kingdom assignments in this city (i.e. marketplace, home builders, governmental leaders) to join our staff reality here at Headquarters for 10+ hours a week. Evergreens will carry job responsibilities on an HQ team and strengthen our rhythm of prayer in our Global Prayer Room. For us all, we are part of singing a perpetual song, a priesthood, a leitourgeo; not only for the MAPS Family but for the church in this city and the nations.
