School of Prayer & Worship
Overview
The MAPS Global School of Prayer and Worship is designed to train priestly ministers in Presence worship, prophetic intercession, and the stewardship of heavenly atmospheres. The great need of the hour is not just more performers but priests who are skilled in the cultivating environments where God’s Presence rests. Two of the primary components of these environments are how we pray and how we worship. The School of Prayer and Worship is a one semester immersion in our prayer and worship culture at our MAPS Global Headquarters in Richmond, VA.
Students will join the rhythm of life with our staff and community in our Global Prayer Room. They will also be in class daily diving into our Foundations curriculum and face time with our main worship leaders, singers and musicians. One of the most valuable aspects of our training here at MAPS is the greenhouse of the healthy community centered around the Presence of God where we are always singing, always praying and always blessing His name. Upon successfully completing your application, every applicant is required to submit a Personal and a Pastoral Reference. Here is the form for your personal/pastoral references to fill out.
Making sure that your references submit their recommendation can take some time so it is recommended to keep in touch with your references to see how they’re going!
You will receive an e-mail from our team when your references do come in.
Interview
After your references have been returned we will reach out to you and schedule an interview. After your interview, we aim to have the application decision within two weeks.
